I'm really disappointed in the book, due to it glossing over things that I wanted to learn and not even mentioning some things.Unfortunately Intuit decided to make QB Online different than QB Desktop. It's like PC vs Mac where both computers do the same things, just you go about it differently.A Chart of Accounts is very important and I wished this book explained all of the accounts used in a restaurant, how they work together, and what they are for. Instead they say download our COA and few other things.The book doesn't even mention recording for food spoilage.I did like the chapter on Inventory as well as it talking about QB features. If I didn't have experience as a real estate bookkeeper, I'd be a bit lost.

Book was okay but some of the explanations left much to be desired.

Sleeter is an expert in all fields of accounting. Good resource.

As an accountant with a client that is a sports bar this is a very valuable tool to help me to setup and maintain my client's accounting records. I definitely would recommend this book! The authors really know their stuff and its presented in a very engaging way.

I am using Quickbooks online and this book is not for that purpose. Examples didn't match up which made it very hard to follow. So I returned it.

this little book helped me understand how to apply QB to restaurant operations.
